I'm pretty sure I can't guess on the depth of the meaning as to why you got emotional listening to this oldie, but great song. I was in my later teens or around 20-ish when it was popular. I just had my firstborn child and was working at a laundry service. I can remember sitting in the field outside the building with all the co-workers I hung with and we were listening to it via a car radio. I have nothing deeper to reveal than this.....it sure would be nice to have a Pina Colada about right now.
