i agree with you in that i should revise my statements regarding the all women at birth. i was taught that way and the books i read were in that line of thought, and upon further reflection it should be updated.
as for the rest of it, we are a cascade of chemical reactions. at each step, various nutrients are required for proper formation. if those requirements are not meant, or similar element groups replace molecules [like fluoride stealing a spot meant for iodine] then there will be malformations.
