That's a rather clinical view of it, but you're right. Nevertheless, friends tease each other all the time without assuming malicious intent is involved. Let me rephrase it.

Why did you assume malicious intent on my part when I teased you about it? Would you make the same assumption if I teased you about something else or just that?
