I wonder if this is genetically relatable to the fact that when whites race mix, their half white babies don´t look white. If the other partner is black, asian, or whatever the fuck non white race they are, the child is almost never white. And I mean that in a sense that when they grow up and look themselves in the mirror they´ll never think "I identify with white people".
Mixing definitely ruins white traits more than other races´ traits.
