And at what point does the brain become a receptor for consciousness? Or alternatively, when does a soul pop into our brains?

I can't remember exactly how it was said but in Rick Strassman's book "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" I think it was said that there was a major change that takes place with a fetus at day 49, which is seven weeks into the pregnancy. I think he was saying that's when it's thought that the soul enters the body, possibly with a rush/release of naturally occurring dmt.

I also seem to remember reading somewhere that it's always encouraged to abort an unwanted pregnancy before the 7th week mark. Interesting connection if so.
