I get how Pink Floyd is depressing, I would be fine never hearing another Pink Floyd song again even though I do think it's great music. I can absolutely see a vague connection between Pink Floyd and suicide.

But Smashing Pumpkins!? LOL... hmmm. I can see how some of the songs could be depressing. Sure. But... I've overwhelmingly heard people attest that Smashing Pumpkins music saved their freaking lives. Like they were super depressed and somehow the music made them feel better/less alone or some shit. I don't really get the suicide vibe from Smashing Pumpkins, I really don't. I just don't.
