there is an ancient cave and tunnel system underground that connects every continent. some of these caves are the size of entire cities. the USA employed nuclear powered laser drilling machines to create even more tunnels and caves. it was said they could tunnel a mile per day... 50 years ago.
underneath that stuff is even more... with different types of entities there. humans can only go so far before they are out of the range of the schumann frequencies and go insane.
