Seriously, I've heard all of this nonsense about the Mercator projection being racist before. What must it be like to be such a simpleton that everything can be readily explained away as racism? Did this clown not see that Antarctica is also shown larger than actual size even though it's not a "white country?"
Some African American educators are playing up the fact that Africa is really much larger than it appears in the Mercator projection as though it were a badge of pride for black Americans.
