One of the things that distinguishes Man from the other animals is the ability to recognize when he's stuck in a repeating cycle and "jump out of the loop."
Another is hope in the inevitability of bringing Order out of Chaos.
It seems that humans have lost both. "Idiocracy uber alles!" is the banner most people march behind nowadays. They're willfully ignorant, and damned proud of it. They're not only unable to envision something better, they steadfastly refuse to try.
Why do the mass media, the tech giants, and the other organs of the so-called deep state lead the masses like sheep to the slaughter? Because that's exactly what they asked for. By accepting the status quo as normal, they signal that they expect nothing different, insist on nothing better.
Is it Stockholm syndrome?
Do they love Big Brother?
Do they feel unworthy of something better?
Can they even envision something better?
If so, do they think it's a pipe dream, forever beyond their reach?
Communists evidently believe in something better -- or at least something they misguidedly believe to be better -- and believe it to be obtainable. But they don't believe in plateaus, only the eternal grind of change for the sake of change. That's wearisome to people who want stability, an orderly respite from chaos.
Conservatives, on the other hand, crave stability to their own detriment. In the absence of an existential threat, they become complacent and let their guards down. They don't yet consider the turmoil created by the relentless onslaught of leftism a grave enough threat to oppose it with sufficient force to neutralize it.
One thing is clear to me. The idiocracy won't fulfill the hopes of either, and will lead to the demise of both.
Keep frolicking like lambs in the green meadows, without a care in the world.
Or keep pushing that stone uphill, confident that it won't roll back down and crush you flat.
Either way you choose, the adversaries of humanity are counting on you to keep doing exactly what you're doing. Because they know that as long as you do, there's no way they can lose.
