He's using the old hat training in his interactions with Zane, and he was especially doing so in the first stream.
He let the guard down in the second stream but had to double up on the physical defenses (eye movements, body language, varied 'story telling', etc).
I would say he was probably operating as a free agent in his meeting with Zane here...
Those watching Zane don't need to come up on him at his camp spot to keep an eye on him, and very few are looking for a personal experience.
Some have had the balls to seek out a personal experience though...

Anyway, Space Cowboy isn't the first and he won't be the last.
If Zane wants to cut down on surprise visits which can be explained away by the fact that he tells the whole world on the internet of his whereabouts every single day...
Then I guess he knows what to do.
