I have dabbled in the past...
It was a learning experience for me that was sparked and inspired by a very talented and unique digital artist. I was actually able to do some things in the style of that artist, after figuring out how to manipulate the software etc. It was a situation of destiny... the purpose was to teach me how to think differently and see differently. That alone opened up my mind into an entirely new universe.
My type of art, though, is very physical and hands-on. The purpose is to imbue my art with my essence and the energy imprint of whatever it is I am conveying through the art (ideas, desires, emotions, etc.)... so to me it is very important for the art to be physical/tangible.
