My paintings for example are about hiding things in plain sight... only I really know what the painting is about, and it's usually pretty scandalous.
Sewing different items (like clothing with a lot of pockets or patches, or other types of material adhered) would be a source of wondrous creation and possibilities for me, but it's so time consuming to sew and I refuse to do it any other way than by hand. You can't really achieve the artistic effect I'd be looking for with a machine anyway. Sewing machines take the intricacy out of the stitching, makes it too uniform, stands in the way of the things I'd be aiming to do.
