I went to the Grand Canyon... it was weird. Slews of asian tourists wearing those surgical masks.
When you see a ton of people with the surgical masks, it causes this psychological reaction where you feel like there's contagious disease in the air or some shit. Like not enjoyable.
I remember getting back in the car with the Grand Canyon having been my last stop on my solo trip out west. I'm like welp, time to go home! I put my address into the GPS and it calculates 1700 something miles, I'm like OMG.

When I went through there, the guy working the booth was talking to me about Mammoth Cave and I was telling him I'd never been there, which is lame because I live in Kentucky. He was like ah it's pretty common for people to not even go see the coolest stuff they live near. LOL.
