This is actually pretty fucked up to be honest with you...
I think I'll post it on the Kilauea thread too.
I don't know enough about volcanoes to say either way whether or not 'fissures' used to be a thing.
But the fact that people are coming out of the woodwork claiming to have never heard of this before kind of points to Kilauea as being a 'place marker'.
That's kinda what I meant with my post in the thread...
