everything is energy that is differentiated by harmonic state. once stilled internally, your `matrix` can receive subtle [or not so subtle] external harmonics. then it is solely a matter of pattern recognition for harmonics you're already familiar with. for unfamiliar harmonics, one will get a sense of mystique, intrigue, or creepiness.
by focusing on an internal harmonic, one can project it outwards. we all do this constantly to some extent. our voices are the standard way to manifest this, but the eyes, mind, and especially heart actually do it better. time and distance are illusions, making such physical expressions redundant for the adept. everything has a signature.
re: passenger seat - that's a good way to put it, someone sharing the journey of the moment, but there can be more seats. i'm attuned to many beings and things, many have attuned to me, and i've had people attune to me and pick up on the others thinking it's me. one of the strangest lessons i've had to learn is that a significant portion of `my` thoughts and feelings aren't actually mine. when picking up subtle harmonics with the subconscious, the ego has a tendency to relate it to you. such precepts must be discarded and the solitary themes must be filtered in order to properly process.
these skills tend to develop in those doing a lot of work with people, like retail or customer service or therapy. people become as obvious as a ringing tuning fork. good salesmen know exactly how this works even if it's not to the esoteric extent.
