Life is a series of judgement calls...

That's it.

Societal systems have attempted to dumb down innate intelligence and discourage us from using our intuitive sensibilities to gauge people, places, situations, etc.

The gut instinct is basically never wrong.

I really can't think of a single instance of my gut instinct leading me astray about people, places, situations, etc.

Ever.

Not saying there aren't learning experiences to be had when we dismiss our better judgement and do some stupid shit anyway.

That's part of the entertainment of life.

But when you lie to yourself and deny you knew it was the wrong thing to do (whatever the situation may be) then you are doing a disservice to your intuitive faculties and sabotaging the honing of those abilities.

Intuition is like a muscle, you have to work it... maintaining proper function is a lifelong process.
