I'd suggest that these people were already like this inside and current times are just bringing it out in them...
Everything used to be going their way, but it's not anymore. That's just what happens to evil people when shit stops going their way (straight to hell).
It's just who they always were.
6:15 - 6:34 I disagree with prettymuch everything he says here. Again, this is where the concept of religion totally limits people like Sage and keeps their development stifled. Of course he's still doing pretty great and he's still woke enough... but he's just hit the ceiling on the whole nine yards by having these limited belief systems.
