Yeah I know what you are saying I don't disagree, but look at Rex the other day? Sweating like a pig why the fuck didn't he leave the AC on? Probably to save fuel.
And then there is things like roads being blocked off land slides floods trees over roads accidents etc sometimes you can't move for a bit until it clears which doesn't normally take long. But no reason you should sweat or freeze until it does.
There is actually Electric vans/trucks on the market using Tesla tech but they only have a 200km range before charging is needed and it takes 6 hours.
