My cousin bought the same year Sprinter (2016) for $38K and the quote to convert was about $20k. When all is said and done, they will probably spend about $60k and have something similar in terms of features. They are literally in the process of doing it now, so I'll be curious how much it ends up costing when all is said and done and let you guys know. Her husband is really handy though and can also probably do some of the work himself, but he has a full time job and not a lot of time to do it.
My other cousin converted her van on the cheap and probably spent half that amount. So you can do it either way
The vans that are already converted are the real rip-offs, people will spend $60k and then turn around and ask $100k for them.
