Intermediate termination boxes aka junction boxes aka whatever you want to call them.
You shouldn't run a wire the whole length of a bus, like they do in commercial operations.
You never let a wire go more than a certain length so if it fries you can just run another easy.
But the problem is, many run the wiring straight through the foam insulation, you should use duct not only for easily pulling another wire through, but for fire protection.
It depends on the manufacturer how stingy they are I worked for sunliner they always used duct.
And if you are doing it yourself for your own vehicle well never make it hard to repair. Make everything easily access.
