This is one subject I know really well.

In a natal chart, the 7th house  rules marriage and partnerships which is what I meant by soulmate sign. And depending on the ruler of the house and the planets placed there and their aspects, you can get a pretty good idea. 

As far as the subdivision of the signs or decans, yes that is true, but that is a small piece of a much larger puzzle.

Hey look im not disagreeing with you or your systems and such, im just saying from life experience nothing is always what it seems to be.
Sometimes there is Delta (changes in things). So you could have 200000000 charts that become totally meaningless in one instant.
There is no actual system for this hologram we live in, we kind of make it ourselves.
