Yeah but yours is different stern but fair. My kids mother was actually violent. And I dealt with that with violence. I should have just squeezed her and told her I loved her.
I know now how to deal with violence without making it worse. I did this the other night at the supermarket, these fools drunk on meth. The African security guard was petrified, then I see this little girl sitting on the seat waiting for her mum to do shopping, and she was scared. So I just distracted them and talked to them and they were cool and left.
Sometimes you may have to defend yourself but most of the time it doesn't need to get to that.
