If you have a natal Venus or Mars conjunct or opposite Uranus in a close degree that can happen a lot.
But it also happens with transits, where the current planets happen to be located in your chart.
If Uranus is transiting your 7th house, that can often cause a sudden break up in a marriage for example, especially when it hits one of your personal planets in that house. So for you, that would be when Uranus is in Taurus.
Also, if transiting Uranus is going through your 4th house in Aquarius and/or aspecting your Venus or Mars in that house it might also indicate a sudden break up or change in your living situation.
I find solar return charts even better than transits for predicting these things-- solar return Uranus in the 7th house can cause a lot of upheaval if you are already in a relationship.
It doesn't even have to be a sudden break up either, it could also suggest an on-again/off-again thing or a temporary separation or long-distance thing--all very indicative of Uranus.
