And yes, telepathy is not "reading someone's mind", its the opposite, only by awareness does one know whether or not the tgought is theirs. For instance, you have a problem and you conclude your thoughts on the issue, then out of the blue you have a tgought that completely contradicts said conclusion, that's not your thought.

If you want to know if your telepathic, the best way is to do it by keeping a journal of random thoughts regarding people. Say you view a particular person as honest, but all the sudden you get a tgought that they are dishonest, out of the blue, write it down. These will serve as cues, not proof of telepathy, this type of experiment takes time, but eventually your common sense will tell you if that person views you as dishonest.
Now I am not saying all telepathy is schizophrenic, I never looked in to severe schizophrenia and I imagine some people are just wacked out of their minds.
