I really got hooked watch fusswhip smoke cigarettes to Roy Orbison. I’ve watched that video many times. Then she cut her hair and started complaining about college and I lost interest. But her older smoking videos were great. She has a brilliant smile.
Travis’s “copblocking” videos are mildly entertaining, but at the same time I have no idea why he wants to talk to cops. Isn’t that Citizenry 101? Don’t talk to cops? Not because they are inherently evil but because of the whole “anything you say can and will be used against you” thing? I mean that’s the law, the cops just enforce, can’t hold it against them. I’ve actually had some great experiences with cops that have shown me that many of them are solid men and women who make a difference. A few have been jerky, but that’s a vast minority in my experience. I don’t get the whole “copblocking” video genre, but it seems like people who are into that probably have some long standing grunge with authority, perhaps dysfunction with parents or early school authorities. Now I’m adult life, the cops are most immediate and obvious representatives of authority, ie they are the visible representation of the “law” as a whole, and thus an easy target for snarky youtubers with too much time on their hands and an axe to grind.
