i agree that gab and minds are destined to fail. i argue that personal websites will fall the same way. i get where you're coming from with it, don't get me wrong. the issue is still the centralized nature of it. hosts can be pressured / capitulate to leftist/whatever nonsense du jour and terminate our accounts. their hosting can do the same if it comes to it. they censor and manipulate from the top down. the answer is thus to go wide, not tall. we need some kind of hybrid between geocities/angelfire/etc, p2p like napster/bittorrent, and blockchain.
i've had an idea for a while about how to do this, but it's also kinda like a virus. :x it also involves a lot of multiplexing and demultiplexing. would need a bunch of pro coders that work with video streams. there'd be sites on the net like channels on cable tv lines, but instead of going to a single `channel` you'd pull a lil bit of info from many channels and put it all together. i'm probably not explaining this well, but i can see how it'd work.
