The actual Bastille was destroyed in 1789, of course. Today, "storm the Bastille" is a euphemism.
I wouldn't put it past Macron to fire on his own citizens. He married a woman old enough to be his mother, and consequently will have no children of his own. Because of that, he has no real stake in the future of France. The same goes for most of progressive leaders of western Europe. The leaders of eastern European countries have children and tend to be nationalists.
