She was one of the YouTube "stars" who posted on VidMe a few times and gave up when she didn't immediately get the same mass following there that she had on YouTube. She said it wasn't worth the effort to click one button to copy her YouTube videos to VidMe for such a small audience. Ironically, she finally pulled her head out of her ass and decided to move to VidMe just before they folded. Maybe VidMe would still be around if she and a few other high-profile YouTubers had taken their fans' advice and maintained a presence there to help build the platform. But no, there was no immediate gratification in it for them. It's the dead forum catch-22 all over again: nobody wants to be on a site with no content, but nobody wants to be the first to post content.
