Google & Facebook: Reign Of Internet's "Ad Duopoly" Headed Toward A Momentous Demise
#7
It's an overall situation of oversaturation.

The same concepts being expressed in too many similar ways.

We've gone too far into the non-physical with the internet and it's time to start bringing things more toward the physical side.

That's why I think people (content creators etc.) running online stores selling ACTUAL THINGS should be more prevalent.

We're moving AWAY from this age of oversaturation in everything 'smart' and everything 'digital only' (like subscriptions to content creators)...

It's time to start offering THINGS for sale rather than being exclusively digital, and even worse, depending on a platform which hosts all your content and lords over your every word.

Is this change going to cut out a lot of people from the world of content creators? Yeah, it is. Seems a lot of people don't want the responsibility of having their own sites, or they don't have the knowledge to make one, they're unwilling to learn...

So they will just be out in the cold.

A lot of people may scratch their heads and say "What could I possibly sell in an online store?" To which I'd have to reply if you can't think of anything, maybe you shouldn't be calling yourself a CONTENT CREATOR.

It's all gone way, way too far out of balance... we're PHYSICAL beings. It's time we start incorporating that physicality, making tangible things, and offering them up on the market.

Will it make people rich as fuck in droves? LOL, probably not. But will they have SOMETHINGGG to show for their time spent on this internet platform in general? Yes. They will have ACTUALLY CREATED something and shared it with the world.

See, THAT is what LASTS. Not DIGITAL ITEMS 'stored' on platforms that can remove everything you ever made in an instant.
