I was never into those manic pixie chick movies...
They all started coming out circa 2005ish and I was resolved at that time to everything new being just absolute trash.
Admittedly I have seen a few of the manic pixie movies and enjoyed them, for the most part, I've found myself just naturally boycotting them.
I resent the concept that Clementine from ESOTSM wasn't a 'manic pixie'... just because they wrote her a 'disclaimer' in the movie doesn't mean she wasn't. She totally was. I really liked that movie when it came out though... I thought it was excellent.
