A whole month?

Whoop-tee-doo, Edith. I quit for 18 months in 2005. YouTube and Facebook either didn't exist or were virtually unknown when I left.
I missed teh interwebz for a little while, but then I got used to not being on it all the time. Did a lot of interesting stuff in the real world that I wouldn't have done if I'd been glued to the computer. It really is an addiction.

Internet addiction was recognized and discussed in the press in the 1990s, but not much at all anymore. It's in the best interests of corporations and the surveillance state to keep us plugged in.
