People who invest hundreds of bucks in a mobile phone are fucked anyway. Constant software updates make your phone run slower over time.



The same thing happens to a real computer to a certain extent, but old desktop OS versions are supported for a lot longer. And you can uninstall unused programs a lot easier. When your version of Windows is no longer serviceable, you can install Linux on the computer and use it as a server or router or something.
