I also totally hate the idea of notifying whenever people log in or log out...

Always hated that feature in any chat.

There should just be a Who's Online page and you could get notifications optionally in the chat whenever those people are online/offline.

There are going to be a lot of people you don't even care about on the site, and likely even people you totally fucking hate...

If you have to see every time they come online or go offline...

Fuck that.
