People need to start asking themselves why Patreon was really made.
In no way do I buy the "dude made it for himself" explanation.
Was Patreon invented as a solution for the oncoming (at the time) 'ad problem' on YouTube...
And was it planned that one day, 'certain types' of content creators who had decided to rely on the platform would eventually have their income destroyed?
