The other thing I hate about practically all Web forum software is how the search engine is almost always useless. It tries being all things to everyone, and ends up being nothing to nobody.

I don't want to have to check a dozen boxes to narrow the search down to the bits I'm interested in, so the mailboxes, alerts, and bookmarks will each have its own little search engine that has one job and does it well.
