I think when a "celebrity" reaches a certain height of popularity [effectiveness of cultural influence]
they are then approached by those that would utilize that power to effect further change, often times
even dark and detrimental, onto society. At the very least; that particular celebrity's viewing public.
Not so much like some people say "Oh, the illuminati got to them" but something very similar.
I hate that word, but I do believe in the notion of hidden factions that are constantly at war
for power that use celebrities and culture to push a lot of vile, desensitizing agendas.
