I'm so jelly of people who got to experience the 70s music firsthand!!! In my opinion, indisputably the most legendary era of music. There pretty much wasn't ANY bad music... it wasn't a thing. Like, maybe the style wasn't really your cup of tea, but none of it could be called "bad".
It's amazing to feel separated from the past by lifetimes... I feel that way too. Yet a sound or a smell can take you back to a specific scene in your life and you feel it like it's happening now.
