i think the term narcissist is overused these days, most people dislike or hate themselves. what they are, are idiots in the classic greek sense of the word - `only concerned about oneself, not the state.` that doesn't mean one should be all FUCK YEAH GREECE/'MERCA/LOCALIZED ARBITRARY REGION! but one should realize that we are all apart of one system and interconnected. that old golden rule, treat others as you would want to be treated, sort of deal.
