I agree with every part of your post except for this part...
That's what I don't get about the van acquisition.
Makes sense to get it just to MAKE IT up to Alaska...
But afterward it's useless to him because he doesn't even have a license.
He can't legally drive.
And he ditches the vans...
He doesn't just drive 'em at length with no license especially at this juncture.
He won't get the van.
