The White Album is leagues beyond fucking iconic but it always blew my mind that they mixed such serious songs like “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” in with totally stupid shit like “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road”... I mean it’s eclectic, I’ll give ‘em that.
“Julia” is also an amazing song as well as “Cry Baby Cry”.
I’d say “Long, Long, Long” is my second most favorite from the White Album.
There are a lot of songs that are tied, with “I Will” clearly standing out over them for me. The song meant a lot to me for personal reasons re: the lyrics, I could relate.
