And just a note on those packaged snack foods...
Think about the prevalence of eating sweets today.
It's honestly horrible.
Listen, I can cook. But I don't consider myself a good baker...
Baking sweets, and cooking main course food are two different specialities.
I specialize in cooking because to me baking is not as important...
You can't live off of cookies. Or cake. Or candy. But that's what society is all about these days.
Cakes, candies, cookies, they're shoved in our faces at every point and turn.
Hundreds of years ago, these items were for BOOSTING MORALE.
They were RARITIES. You almost never had treats like that.
They were almost exclusively eaten in the winter, and when you had them, it was a BIG DEAL.
We have gotta stop all this gluttony... we've gotta stop eating everything laced with sugar.
It's gonna take us out. And to think kids these days are probably LIVING on this crap??
Agh... what a heinous atrocity of epic and biblical proportions, I mean that LITERALLY.
It's end of days kinda shit... people not being able to cook, living on nothing but gluttonous snacks.
