That's what my momma did! Started me off at 6 years old helping out
in the kitchen [it was my idea, it looked fun]. Started off just watching
and throwing away eggs shells, onion peels and such but by the age of
7 you better believe I could cook my own breakfast [bacon & eggs] with
NO help at all!!
She said "I want you to find you a nice girl one day to marry but I don't
want you to have to depend on a woman for anything! That's why I'm teaching
you how to do for Yourself..." Cooking, cleaning and laundry.
Nowadays how many kids can even spell laundry without using Google??
