It sure would be nice wouldn't it?
The rent gets continually hiked up, yet nothing gets improved. Things just continue to degrade and people continue to get charged more and more for less and less.
I don't think there's ever been a time in the world's history when things were as good as the solution you offer here...
Not sure it's possible on this planet or even in the universe.
