as an aside, i do not care whatsoever for superman. beyond the fact that he's a gypsy creation, he's a boring character, essentially immortal and all powerful. the only superman comics i've ever owned are the black and white baggy 2 issue set in which he dies.
i'll take spiderman any day, he actually has to use his mind to create his web shooters, stash web fluid all over so he can keep slingin, and usually deals with opponents much stronger than himself. the clone saga also blew my mind at the time, it's one of the things that opened my eyes to the fact that there are clones walking this world right now.
