That said there is one thing that can fuck with the theremin's sound that is totally unacceptable and that is other electrical fields interfering with it.
That's why everybody started feeling some type of way when Jack White got all up on his theremin player during the Lazaretto tour...
2:22 like I get that they probably did that literally every night and it was part of the show and he just wanted a specific affect, but at a certain point you're being a pushy obnoxious weirdo. I'd still let him fuck me though.
