Our view and approach isn't even as "macro" as it was 100 years ago...
We live in an age of sending the microscope up everything's ass, super small things, super intricate detail, way way caught up in all the tiny aspects of everything...
And it may sound counterintuitive, since these days we're talking about going to space and traveling in space...
But actually, space is micro. The truth of the matter is that being in the 18th century, sitting in the middle of a field beneath the shade of a tree, with blurry vision and no concept of distant galaxies or any technology of any kind is actually a macro view and existence.
Where we are now is micro.
