Have you seen Mildred Pierce? Similar theme, except the girl is older.

Drew Barrymore in Poison Ivy also comes to mind. And Stephanie Zimbalist in her debut role as The Babysitter, starring William Shatner and Patty Duke.

I have to say the characters in this film are more riveting than any of those though.
