Anyway...

It really got me thinking about trauma in its various forms. We already know certain events and experiences can cause a huge amount of psychological trauma...

But what about injuries and other such experiences which cause what is most likely physical trauma within the brain that then manifests in altered behavior?

It's a topic I haven't considered very much throughout the years, and I'm sure I'll come to more conclusions in the future.

It's like head injury rearranges certain structures in the brain...

I haven't really thought about it for long enough to imagine what it is that happens.

Maybe it's sort of the same way an instrument can fall out of tune if you drop it.

The exact amount of trauma required for the condition to occur is unknown.

Maybe it has something to do with the disturbance of the brain fluid...

Maybe it has to do with air pockets in the brain fluid...

It's something that gets fucked up in the brain's ecosystem due to displacement that causes this.

Maybe the brain gets bruised and then starts to rot like a bad fruit. Maybe that's why the effects can take years to show up in some cases.
