The 'following' window being emptied out every time you leave is kinda bad because when you get back online, if there's no one else online, there's no way to locate anyone's profile straight from the front page so you can follow them. I want my following list to stay because I wanna be able to access peoples' profiles easily. That or there should be a page that lists all members.

Dev told me that you can mention them in chat and then click on that to
access their profile. Like this: @MisterObvious is pelting us all with day-old jelly donuts. Click on the highlighted username [IN the chat window] and boom son, ACCESS!

A member list is the next new item. None of these items are actually new. The old features have to be reworked because of the new arrangement. The member list will be redesigned to narrow the list down as you type a username. Following lists will eventually be stored on the server.

I see there was some activity in chat while I was at work today. My laptop charger got unplugged somehow while I was gone, and I timed out.
I'm glad people are using the site when I'm not there. I don't want it to be some cult of personality thing where they come just to see me.

About the iPad reloading issue. Apparently if the iPad doesn't have enough memory for the site, it'll keep refreshing the page and kicking the user off.
First of all, i didn't know iPads had so little memory because I've never used one. I figured Apple would pimp them fuckers out for the price. Secondly, it's a large site, and it's only gonna get larger. I'll eventually minify the JavaScript and CSS, but not while I'm constantly working on it. That should help iPad users when I get to a stopping point. In the meantime, people familiar with this problem recommend that you reboot your iPad - especially if you havent done so in awhile - and close all other apps and browser tabs when viewing a large site. There are other things you can do, but I don't have time to rehash them. Google "ipad reloading issue."

It's pretty easy for me to write little scripts to change configuration settings until I get around to making a full control panel. Let me know what needs to be changed, and I'll fix it.
