I like them cold just before slicing for hamburgers or salads .

You can slice it and put it in the fridge for an hour before you eat it, or even flash it in the freezer for a while.

The only time it's acceptable to put the tomatoes in the fridge is if they've been sitting out at room temperature for days and days and it's a last ditch effort to preserve them for longer.

As soon as tomatoes go in the fridge, they basically start turning to mush.

Whereas when left out at room temperature they continue to ripen and the flavor continues to improve.

I had Mexican chile the other day and hated it, it’s loaded with fucking tomatoes and it desecrated the meal . I only ate half portion and that was enough , I hate traditional Mexican food .
